Show Me Your Little Muse....
My friend Annemarie Lawless has a beautiful blog called ALittleMuse.com inspired by her wonderful daughter, Tallulah Rose. They (together with super-talented photographer father Michael Sanders) live in NYC so I don't get to see them as often as I would like, but, we did get to catch up earlier this year over a game of croquet, no less. I was chaperoning Evie (my 9 year old bezzie) as she was being shot for ES magazine, you know, the usual afternoon. Cue lots of cute children and some weird dancing and embarrassing running my me:

This post is play date, role model and inspiration all wrapped up into one. I met Jackie a few years ago at our mutual friend the late photographer Corinne Day’s house. I had only just the day before read about the UBER stylist/photographer/blogger of the insanely stylish and successful Show Me Your Wardrobe in that month’s In Style Magazine. Michael introduced us and instantly I felt as if I had known her forever. My idea for a little muse was germinating and I shared it with Jackie. She was incredibly encouraging and supportive determined to tell me everything she wished she had known when she first started Show me Your Wardrobe. I am forever grateful to Britain’s top Fashion Blogger! The stars aligned this past Summer when we were able to spend some time together in London. I suggested we play croquet! We were in England after all and Jackie had access to the most beautiful garden where she lives in Kensington. The day turned out even more special as she was spending it with her best friend make up artist Emma White Turle’s daughter the ADORABLE Evie! Evie was being photographed in the square for a fashion story for ES Magazine. Tallulah watched wide eyed as Evie would flit back and forth changing dresses for her next shot. Excitement all around- particularly when at one moment a bike messenger brought a gift for Jackie from Emporio Armani-a new pair of sunglasses! Tallulah’s silliness and enthusiasm was off the charts that day not surprisingly with Jackie’s effervescent and playful spirit abound! Unless you're living under a boulder it cannot have escaped your attention that it is London Fashion Week right now (if you haven't noticed, lucky you). It's a time of year when fashionistas peacock around in their finery and a fabulous publication called The Daily gets distributed - how can I put this - daily, whilst the shows are on. It is, needless to say, a London Fashion Week staple so my husband and I were delighted to be asked to be in it dressed in our H&M finery.

'Corinne Day, The Face' Exhibition.
I met my husband, Matthew, when I was assisting the fashion director of Vogue and he was assisting the photographer Corinne Day. I cannot believe it has been a year since Corinne passed away and I wanted to do a little post on the first exhibition since her death, 'Corinne Day, The Face' which is on at the Gimpel Fils gallery, running from 1 September until 1 October. I cannot find the words to do her work justice so instead I simply urge you to go and enjoy her breathtakingly beautiful photographs.

Well I never! My darling little ShowMeYourWardrobe and I have made it onto Glamour magazine's 'Fashion Hot 100' list in the September issue. Quite fitting and really rather wonderful as it's our three year anniversary right about now. Show Me Your KOOPLES
The Kooples (named after the way French people pronounce the English word couples) is a label that - in my mind anyway - appeared out of nowhere and became an instant firm favourite. I could live in one of their stores and got very excited when I noticed that they had their own magazine....so you can just imagine how excited I got when an email popped up on my screen asking if I would like to cast, shoot and write about some beautiful couples I know for the next issue. And ta-daa! It is out at last, in all 130 of their stores. Pick up your copy now (it's free) but in the meantime enjoy these....
